Don’t Forget You Can
Happy Sunday Kings and Queens! I haven’t been posting the way I’d like to because my babies and books have been keeping me pretty busy, but a friend posted this and I thought it was worth sharing. I hope it inspires someone today!👁❤📚
Burnout Can Look Like
Kings and Queens, be sure you know the signs and make sure you take adequate rest when needed. Self-care is a requirement!
If you really want it
- December 28, 2021
If you really want it- whatever your goal may be- go for it! Sometimes you have to risk it all to gain it all!
You have to encourage yourself first, and then encourage others
As I am still adjusting to being a mother of 2 now, I sometimes have to remind myself that I have incomplete goals that should not be ignored or forgotten about. I have to motivate myself to make time for my writing and complete my ongoing projects. I have to push myself to find new avenues, sources, and even contacts …
Whatever is meant for you
Whatever is meant for you will come when it’s supposed to. Stop watching other people’s timetables and letting it get you down if their clock strikes first!
Goals take time
Goals take time and effort to achieve. Congratulate yourself after each step of completion. No matter how long its takes, or how difficult the journey is, don’t you dare quit until you make it all the way to the finish line! Then, you can REALLY start the celebration! Keep pushing y’all!
It’s been a while since I posted. (My husband and I recently welcomed our second child into this world.) But I came across this post, literally the day after having a discussion about these very same issues, so I figured must be meant to share with someone!
to start somewhere to get somewhere
You have to start somewhere to get somewhere. Take that first step forward and see what happens. What have you got to lose?
A harsh reminder of our self sabotage
My friend posted this and I couldn’t agree more! Sometimes we need a harsh reminder of our self-sabotage. It helps to bring us back into focus.
A Little Inspiration
My dance teacher from way back when I was in middle school, posted this today. It inspired me so I wanted to share it with those that might need a little inspiration themselves.
